Jaenell Cowart is a Los Angeles based copywriter who has spent the past four years writing the taglines that sell movies. She currently leads copy for a high profile Netflix series sequel, and her theatrical credits include The Conjuring: Last Rites, Final Destination: Bloodlines, and The Naked Gun. Across her career she has written hundreds of taglines and campaign systems for studios including Disney, Netflix, Universal Pictures, Paramount, Apple TV+, Warner Bros. and Amazon, working across key art, trailers, OOH and social. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the American University of Paris, is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in French.
